Factory Data Reset Instructions

Factory Data Reset (Powered Off)

Here’s how to factory / hard reset your device if the screen freezes or call, app, audio or sync issues occur and the device won’t start up. Please use this method for the models listed:

X10 Pulse G65+ G10 G65 X8ULTRA X8G X10ULTRA X10G

Please Note:

  • Perform a factory data reset on your DIALN device only if necessary as it removes your Google™ account and all data including system data, app data and media.
  • For devices with Android™ Device Protection turned on, it’s imperative Google sign-in credentials are known prior to completing a factory reset with the device powered off. If credentials are unknown, do one of the following:
  • If a pattern, PIN, etc. is or has ever been set up on the device, Google account sign-in is required during initial setup
  • If the device is responsive and can be powered on, a Factory Data Reset from the Settings page is recommended.
  1. Ensure the device is powered off.
  2. Press and hold the Power button for one second, and immediately after press and hold the Volume Down button.
  3. Keep holding both keys until you get to the System Recovery Menu. Once this screen loads, you can release both buttons.
  4. From the System Recovery screen, select Factory Data Reset
  5. Use the Volume Buttons to highlight over the Reset Option and the Power Button to select the desired option.
  6. Select Wipe Data / Factory Reset. Press the Power Button for YES to confirm.
  7. Select Factory Data Reset and press Power Button.
  8. Press Power Button to Reboot System Now.
    • Allow several minutes for the Reset Process to complete and restart.

  • Perform a factory data reset on your DIALN device only if necessary as it removes your Google™ account and all data including system data, app data and media.
  • For devices with Android™ Device Protection turned on, it’s imperative Google sign-in credentials are known prior to completing a factory reset with the device powered off. If credentials are unknown, do one of the following:
  • If a pattern, PIN, etc. is or has ever been set up on the device, Google account sign-in is required during initial setup
  • If the device is responsive and can be powered on, a Factory Data Reset from the Settings page is recommended.

  3. Keep holding both keys until you get to the Select Root Mode Menu. Once this screen loads, you can release both buttons.
  4. Use the Volume Up Button to select Recovery Mode.
  5. Click Volume Down Button to enter Recovery Mode Menu.
  6. Use the Volume Buttons to highlight over the Reset Option and the Power Button to select the desired option.
  7. Select Wipe Data / Factory Reset. Press the Power Button for YES to confirm.
  8. Select Factory Data Reset and press Power Button.
  9. Press Power Button to Reboot System Now.
