Factory Data Reset Instructions
Factory Data Reset (Powered Off)
Here’s how to factory / hard reset your device if the screen freezes or call, app, audio or sync issues occur and the device won’t start up. Please use this method for the models listed:
X10 Pulse G65+ G10 G65 X8ULTRA X8G X10ULTRA X10G
Please Note:
- Perform a factory data reset on your DIALN device only if necessary as it removes your Google™ account and all data including system data, app data and media.
- For devices with Android™ Device Protection turned on, it’s imperative Google sign-in credentials are known prior to completing a factory reset with the device powered off. If credentials are unknown, do one of the following:
- Attempt to sign in with any Google account previously used on the device.
- Reset the password via the https://www.google.com/accounts/recovery website.
- If a pattern, PIN, etc. is or has ever been set up on the device, Google account sign-in is required during initial setup
- If the device is responsive and can be powered on, a Factory Data Reset from the Settings page is recommended.
- Ensure the device is powered off.
- Press and hold the Power button for one second, and immediately after press and hold the Volume Down button.
- Keep holding both keys until you get to the System Recovery Menu. Once this screen loads, you can release both buttons.
- From the System Recovery screen, select Factory Data Reset
- Use the Volume Buttons to highlight over the Reset Option and the Power Button to select the desired option.
- Select Wipe Data / Factory Reset. Press the Power Button for YES to confirm.
- Select Factory Data Reset and press Power Button.
- Press Power Button to Reboot System Now.
- Allow several minutes for the Reset Process to complete and restart.

- Keep holding both keys until you get to the Select Root Mode Menu. Once this screen loads, you can release both buttons.
- Use the Volume Up Button to select Recovery Mode.
- Click Volume Down Button to enter Recovery Mode Menu.
- Use the Volume Buttons to highlight over the Reset Option and the Power Button to select the desired option.
- Select Wipe Data / Factory Reset. Press the Power Button for YES to confirm.
- Select Factory Data Reset and press Power Button.
- Press Power Button to Reboot System Now.
- Allow several minutes for the Reset Process to complete and restart.
